In 2019 and 2020, Bank of Saint Lucia engaged Boost to develop the visual and creative elements for its annual loan campaigns.
In the first year, our work helped reframe how banking advertising could show up. The lead campaign broke from category norms and gained widespread traction, with the primary ad being shared internationally and reaching audiences as far as the UK. Its success came from a simple but unexpected narrative that invited viewers in before subverting expectations, making the message both memorable and shareable.
Following the campaign’s success, the bank re-engaged Boost in 2020 to deliver a fully text-led creative approach. We took the core campaign objectives and translated them into sharp, witty copy that felt approachable without losing credibility. Once again, the campaign exceeded performance targets, surpassing goals by 10 percent and achieving international reach.
Across both years, the work demonstrated the power of considered creativity in a traditionally conservative category, proving that when messaging is clear, human, and well-executed, it can travel far beyond its intended market.
