The purpose of this data retention policy is to outline the guidelines and procedures for retaining and deleting personal data collected through the Boost Marketing Intake Form. The policy ensures compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations and emphasizes the prompt deletion of data if a candidate is unsuccessful.

This policy applies to all personal data collected through the Boost Marketing Intake Form, including but not limited to the following categories:

  • Contact details (address, phone number, email address)

  • Banking information

  • Employment history

  • Skills and qualifications

3. Data Retention Guidelines


3.1. Active Data


Active data refers to the personal data of candidates who are actively being considered for employment. This data will be retained until a final decision is made regarding the candidate's application.

3.2. Deletion of Unsuccessful Candidates' Data


In the event that a candidate is unsuccessful, Boost Marketing will promptly delete their personal data from our systems. The deletion will occur within 24 hours after the decision regarding the candidate's application is communicated to them. This ensures that personal data of unsuccessful candidates is promptly and securely removed from our records.

4. Data Deletion Procedures


4.1. Automated Deletion


Boost Marketing will implement appropriate technical measures to automatically delete the personal data of unsuccessful candidates from our systems within the designated timeframe.

4.2. Manual Deletion


In cases where automated deletion is not possible, Boost Marketing will ensure that designated personnel responsible for data protection manually delete the personal data of unsuccessful candidates from all relevant systems and databases.

5. Data Backup and Security


Boost Marketing will implement appropriate security measures to protect the personal data collected through the Intake Form, including regular backups and access controls to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or alteration of the data.

6. Data Subject Rights


Candidates have the right to request access, correction, and deletion of their personal data. Boost Marketing will promptly respond to such requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

7. Data Protection Officer (DPO)


Boost Marketing's Managing Consultant is responsible for overseeing the implementation of this policy and ensuring compliance with data protection laws and regulations.

8. Review and Updates


This data retention policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with any changes in data protection laws and regulations. Any updates to the policy will be communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
